The 1st mistake a recently engaged man makes is to believe and follow the accepted norm that women relish planning their marriage and all blokes have to do is nod and say yes to everything and work out a technique to pay for it. While this customary norm does not really guarantee divorce down the line, it actually serves to aim you that way from the get-go. Why? Because ladies desire their men to be more than the person in the tux at the change and they would like them to really SHARE in the planning of their special day. Men hear this and need to run in the other direction – thinking all kinds of conflicts will arise if they attempt to share in the planning.
Or that they are going to be over ruled each step of the way anyhow.
Ladies however will tell you that they desire their future better half to be concerned in the planning – not necessarily in the choice making, but at least in the planning. This carries forward to their married years also – men who are distant from family choices have a tendency to be less supportive. And in the final analysis, this is what most ladies desire above everything else – support.
Even if you do not agree, it’s better to go thru the choice making process together than to leave one party with all of the choices. If for no real reason than the one call maker gets tagged with all the blame if something does not work just completely. Many a bride has burned themselves out before the honeymoon ever arrives because they needed to do everything. Marriages are not something most men growing up need to plan. For most the sheer size of the planning makes them sick. Many men notice that just engaging in the middle pleases their future bride and has a tendency to buff the relationship road over the long run, a road that we all know can get quite rough. Listening and communicating are marks most ladies say they want in a person and the smart man is one who offers these from the beginning of the marriage planning process. This process is most likely going to finish with lots of give and take, so that the best plan is to start giving and taking early on and building a delightful pattern for the remainder of your wedded bliss.

As a teen girl, my room was full of books and mags which had some tips and concepts of arranging a marriage. I wanted my perfect marriage day to be unique and so gathered info about marriages from different cultures. Concepts from foreign cultures help in making your important day really unusual. Marriages in Russia are a mix of ECU and Yankee style and they also feature some parts of Russian practices. It comes out as a play in a theatre where everyone seems to be sure of their role. According to practice the groom is meant to go to the brides home and ask for the folks approval or ask for their children hand. A few of these standard practices are disappearing. There are few cases where some folk exercise the practice of ransoming the bride. Numerous fun games to provoke the groom are arranged.
This is in a plan to test the IQ of the groom and gauge his capacity. The groom must sing, answer rude questions, reciting a poem and lots more and plenty more.
He must shower the organizers with gifts like money and candy for him to be gave the bride. In Russia there’s a custom the bride must organize a hen-party where she invites all her chums to help her celebrate her single hood as she is saying bye bye to it. Today , even men organize a bachelors party to celebrate as they leave their bachelors way of life. This occurs a day before the ideal marriage day. After the church service, the just married couple goes for a reception in an eaterie, parting hall or in a home where they should be received by the grooms oldsters. The grooms mummy is meant to give them bread and salt according to Russian customs. The just weds then eats the bread in turns.
The person that eats the bigger part of the bread then instantly becomes the head of the house. This ritual helps a lot in sex equality issues. In other cultures, the person is the head of the house by default.
The uniqueness of a Russian marriage is in the gorko. The young couple kisses for so long as it is possible as the guests count numbers from one. The longer the kiss, the stronger their relationship will be.

When you have a low number of guests, you can spend more time with them and truly experience their presence. Minimum is just the 2 of you, the minister, and a witness. Invite friends and family with whom you have real relations. Eliminate those that could be invited out of social need. Have your marriage at home, either inside or in your garden, or in a park.
